With the 2 functions, there's multiple choices in terms of the vibrations, so I'm sure most will be able to find a combination that works for them. There is no app for this toy, but the power buttons on the rose are easy to find. It might be a good idea to consider where the buttons will be before putting this toy in place as you don't want to get all ready to play and then realize the buttons are awkward to reach and have to reposition it. When you get the rose in the right place, you will know - the sucking feeling almost made my eyes cross when I first felt it. It is not anywhere near too intense to handle tho.
